The orange, quintessence of the Mediterranean, has always enriched our tables with its scents and golden color. Its peel is a concentrate of beneficial substances such as essential oils, antioxidants, fibers and mineral salts. Packtin orange peel flour derives 100% from innovative up-cycling processes, i.e. enhancing raw materials that would otherwise be discarded as waste, respecting the principles of the CIRCULAR ECONOMY.
Thanks to the low temperature drying process, Packtin orange peel flour also retains the most delicate active ingredients, such as Vitamin C (81mg/100g) and phenolic compounds with known antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties (2.8%). A pinch of orange peel flour in your baked goods, sauces or creams will allow you to make them tastier, more fragrant and healthier.
Packtin orange peel flour is obtained from the simple drying of orange peel, without the addition of additives, preservatives or colorants, and is perfect for any diet, giving an extra hint of flavor to your preparations.
Usage tips
For doughs, we recommend adding between 2% and 5% of product compared to wheat flour. For other applications, add as desired. Cold application is recommended for best results.
